If AV security suite stops bothering you, is it gone?

I got the AV security virus thing, and after hours of deletion methods, I finally got back on, out of safe mode. It hasn’t bothered me yet, so my question is, does that mean it is gone?

Actually, it does bother you somehow, unless you repair your registry. It has distorted your system registry.
Test it out with the Eicar Test String. Make a .txt file and put this in and save it.

Read about it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EICAR_test_file
Not necessarily, some of those fake anti virus programs sneak pieces of themselves all over. do updates and full scans frequently.
If none of the symptoms mentioned in this site are showing then it is most probably gone already:

Nevertheless, do a full scan with Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware:

lol. I just got the same virus on my computer.
The way to remove it is to boot your computer in safe mode. Once you’ve done that. go to start > run > msconfig. Click on the startup tab. There should be some item that has completely random letters as its name. Uncheck the box for that and click apply. What this does is it stops the virus from starting up when you start your computer.
If you want to remove it. Go to my computer > local disk > user (choose whichever user got the virus) > local settings > application data. In this folder, there should be another folder named with completely random letters. Go and delete that and the virus will go away. Note: you might have to go to tools > folder options > view and check the box that says "show hidden files and folders" since what you’re looking for is hidden from the general view.
This is what I did and it worked for me. If you google it, I think there are some programs that automatically delete it for you if you don’t want to do it manually.

I had the sucker.
Malwarebites beat the hell out of it in minutes.
There are chances that your PC still contains those viruses.
Scanning PC with some updated latest antivirus software is adviceable.
It can create backups of itself to pounce onto your system yet again. Even if some traces are left on your system, the virus can still cause damage, mostly by stealing any private data you enter. It is imperative you understand how the virus works and what processes it uses to fully remove it.
I would suggest you use this website:

To see what processes the virus uses and to check the registry to see if it is still lingering on your system.
