Alert! Internet Security 2010 Virus and How To Remove/Fix It – Trojans too
This is a very nasty virus that is running rampant on the internet as of January 2010. In many cases people have lost their entire computer to it so it’s a really bad one. Be sure to go to the link below and read the instructions very carefully. Also be sure to follow the instructions exactly as they are stated. That will help you fix this issue and get it off of your computer. Here is the link to the article: www.softsailor.com Here is the link to malwarebytes which is free and you will need this to fix the problem: www.malwarebytes.org Step 1: Go here and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for free. Save the file to your desktop. If Internet Security 2010 does not allow you to download anything, you should download the setup on another computer and use an USB stick or a CD/DVD to transfer the files needed. Remember to place the setup file on the desktop. Step 2: Click here to download the rkill.com file. download.bleepingcomputer.com Once the download is complete, run it. The rkill.com file will make sure the Internet Security 2010 will be closed for good so it does not interfere with the removal process. Step 3: Close all open applications and windows. You now should be on the desktop. Step 4: Run the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware setup from the desktop. Step 5: Go with the default settings during the install. CRUCIAL: Make sure you tell the software to automatically update itself (theres a box you need to check during the install to make that happen). In addition, make …

@theskatelate run your computer in safemode and open malwarebytes and run a scan and remove everything then restart the computer and you should be fine it worked for me
@theskatelate dude my comp was in the same position restart your comp and go to safe mode with netwroking and then work the malwarebytes
i had the same problem. i found an even better solution i dont know if it’ll work for you , i just restored my computer to an earlier point and it fixed the problem and i have windows 7.
Interesting enough for all stories written…. I got an internet virus just last night on my laptop. I sat and thought of all types of solution before acting. It was an AV virus and it wouldn’t allow me to log onto the internet, so i tried to locate wat i though would be some type of program…i tried to go to add/delete prgrams but it block me, it blocked me from going to systems tools and it blocked my own security program from (iolo)…… Contenue……….
Contenue… I tried several times to access the internet but the only site i was able to go on was their site (AV) to buy their program…that thing is like a plague; it was blocking me from accessing anything that could potentially get ride of it.
long story short…i simply uninstalled my Windows XP and re-installed it. I had to reload, re-install and re-update my entire computer. No more porn sites for me Jack…those things are loaded with viruses worms, trojons and spyware!!!!!
hi, i spent 6 hrs of running anti-virusus in safe and normal mode with no luck and then found your video! it WORKED!!!! thank you so much!!!
Now, should I leave rkill and malwarebytes on my computer now or do i need to remove them?
Thank you again!
hi, one more question- every time i start my computer i get a windows security alert about ‘VisualMSVCP71.exe’ whose publisher cannot be verified and if I would like to run it or not. I cancel it and get error about unverified publisher about ‘MicrosoftVisual.exe.’ I cancel them each time. Do you think it might be virus related? I have run anti virus again and it found nothing. Thanks.
AHHH! thank you so so so so much!!
Desktop Security 2010 is the brother virus.
@et1074 Possibly. I personally DO NOT run anything whose publisher can’t be specified… unless I KNOW FOR SURE what that program does. A peice of advice is to scan you computer COMPLETELY with the best free antivirus i have found avalible, avast! home edition. Yes I konw they have had some pretty bad ratings with their 4.8 version but their new 5.0 version seems to be very hard for a virus to get through. Scan your computer with its boot time scan (it scans EVERYTHING on your computer)
@et1074 continuing– every time except once it has been virus related so trust me i can almost gaurentee its some sort of virus. I beleive to have caught it while looking for a new update for one of my games
if avast dont catch it try some others if none of em catch it i say: run it at your own risk.
@Beatwize6 Indeed , For future refrence keep a copy of Malwarebytes , AVG , etc installers on a disc, that way if your infected , just cut internet , go into safemode and install.
Thank you for the quick fix! This was pissing me off!
I have this on my other computer.. and i can’t even open the internet!!
HELP?!
Thank you, Sir!
I had the AV Security virus (another fake virus) which required a purchase to remove.
I found your video and downloaded malwearbytes and now the dang virus is gone.
Thanks again, you saved me from paying the computer tech $100.00 to remove the nasty virus.
