I have recently downloaded Spamfighter from the internet it is apparently Microsoft Certiified. It is however, only a free trial. There is also some software called VirusFighter developed by the company Norman. Are they any good?
If not , can you advise me on any good down-loadable software, to protect my PC, preferably free of charge.

Really, Really Basic Computer Security

It is really starting to bug me…
a few hours ago my interent froze and i had to shut down
when i restarted it said my firewall was disabled so i enabled it,
i already have AVG virus protection but everytime i try and access the internet it keeps offering me some new virus protection, anyone know why?
My AVG shows no problems at all and has always worked and been reliable. I can access the internet but it says not recommended without protection.
Can anyone please help?
