We pay extortionate levvies, something like £1600 a year, which is all the more painful to pay because the agent doesn’t maintain the place at all. Our lift has broken down three times in a year, and he has left it unable to function for 3-4 weeks at a time which is frustrating when we have a baby and have prams and all that sort of thing to carry.

Now the garage door has broken (I.e. it won’t close) and has been sitting open for an age. Our front door to the building also sits ajar and doesn’t close properly which is a security risk.

I was just wondering if there is some documentation on our rights around this, and if we can form a committee or something in the building to vote on either changing agent, or getting him to do things that we want?

Any help from experienced people appreciated.
