A little old fashioned lock to disable the power button of a PC, could be used as a parenteral protection

I’m torn between majoring in computer programming or computer security. I also want to ask, will I be in a cubical in either one of those majors. The cubical is my worse nightmare. No offense to anyone working in one but that’s not for me. What do you know?
